The NBSO is Looking for a Few Good Friends
Each NBSO performance rests on the talent, energy and hard work of our professional team of musicians and administrative staff. But even their tireless efforts aren’t enough to bring the wonderful gift of classical music to residents of the South Coast. That’s why the Friends of the Symphony, the volunteer arm of the NBSO, needs your help. There are opportunities to help out in the NBSO office with telephoning or mailings in preparation for fundraisers such as Sea Side Swing.

You may want to get involved with the NBSO’s educational program or spring youth concerts or Music in the Morning (heard daily by 10,000 elementary school students). As a Friend of the Symphony you will be able to support the NBSO in ways best suited to your schedule and interests. The only giving you’ll be asked to do will be your time, ideas and energy.

Take this opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of one of New Bedford’s oldest and most cherished cultural institutions, as well as to experience the satisfaction of working behind the scenes with other committed music lovers.
